Getting online therapy help can be a good way to start therapy or continue to address meaningful ways to improve your life and health. At Mindful Psychology Associates (MPA), our Licensed Clinical Psychologists and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors see adults, young adults, and adolescents in a safe, secure online environment.
Our telehealth sessions allow you to connect with a therapist online, through live video. You can get the same benefits of being at a counselor’s office now from the comfort of your own home or office. Minimize travel time; maximize quality time.
When you schedule a telehealth appointment, you’ll receive confirmation and a link emailed or texted to you for access to a secure Zoom session. The therapist will be speaking to you from a secure and quiet space to protect privacy and help replicate the in-person experience. Our quality of care is paramount and much of the experience will replicate our in-person sessions as much as possible.
To access online therapy, you will need a computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone with reliable access to the Internet for the duration of your session. Please plan to log in from a quiet and private place so that you and your therapist can be comfortable and candid. Sessions typically run for 50 minutes. Payment through your insurance provider or self-pay options should be finalized in advance of your appointment. Your therapist and the MPA administrative team can help if you have questions.
Please note: Mindful Psychology Associates currently offers online counseling for Illinois residents. Some insurance companies may not reimburse telemental health sessions at this time. Be sure to check with your provider before scheduling a session. If your insurance does not currently cover online counseling, you can still seek computer-based therapy at our regular rates.
